Consultant Gastroenterologist Dr Alan Desmond:

New patient consultation: £250

Follow-up consultation: £175

Registered Dietitian Deborah Howland:

New patient and follow-up consultations: £125

Payments and cancellations:

Payments are accepted in advance of clinic appointments. Invoices will be sent by e-mail. Cancellations can be made up to three days ahead of your appointment. Cancellations made later than this are subject to a £50 cancellation fee. Cancellations made on the same day as the appointment cannot be refunded.

Patients with Private Medical Insurance:

Appointments with Dr Desmond are covered by most major health insurers. If your insurance provider does not cover the full consultation fee, you will be charged the shortfall. Click here for details of estimated shortfall payments. Consultations with a Registered Dietitian may not be covered, please check with your insurance provider.
